Using Hubpages to Make Money Online

On this blog I like to find and reveal good ways for you to promote your own programs. Ways that I like to try and test myself first before I share them with you. Well one way is by using a Hubpage or Hubpages. I just created my first Hubpage. See it here Why You Should Always Recycle Mobile Phones. That makes me an official "Hubber".

Using Hubpages is relatively new to me but I kept coming across them in searches and figured I'd give it a go. As some of you may know from my previous posts I am involved in mobile phone recycling so it only made sense to create a Hub to promote my mobile phone recycling review site.

So far so good. I've submitted it to Digg and it has already have over 50 diggs in a few hours.

What is a Hub?

In their own words "A Hub is a rich web page that you write and design. Each time you want to write another article, you'll create another Hub. It's just like in a website, which has multiple web pages. You have the capability to add text, pictures, videos, and links in your Hub."

The Hubpages site is very, VERY comprehensive with tons and I mean tons of information on what the site is about, how it works and how to use it. It has Popular topics, Hubs you can browse, Forums and much more. More than I will cover in this post. The best way for you to find out would be to start your own Hub. And become a Hubber for yourself.

How to make money with a Hub

Aside from actually creating your Hub on whatever topic you want and driving traffic to it or letting it drive traffic to itself. You can enter your Google Adsense Publisher ID as well as your Amazon Affiliate code eBay and Kontera ID. This means Adsense will show up on your Hub and you get paid for the clicks and impressions generated as if it was on your own site! You can even add your Analytics ID to track traffic in your Analytics account. Hubpages also have an affiliate program as well. You can earn 10% of what your referrals earn on their impressions generated. I am still learning about it all myself but it's been a blast so far and generated my heaps of traffic to my mobile phone recycling site!
