I've recently started writing articles myself and submitting them to article directories to promote my new mobile phone recycling review site. Which some of you will know about already.

Well I wrote and submitted a few articles to Ezine@rticles.com. I think they are the top article site on the net and it's very hard to get an article approved. They have a 5 step process each article has to go through. However I was surprised they approved the article they did because it's only a few paragraphs long and I've submitted other articles since that I'm still awaiting for them to approve.

So I would imagine them to approve them soon too. The hope is the articles I am writing will be read by people and they then the link through to my site. The good thing about this is people who do click through are going to have a genuine interest already and know what to expect when they get there. This in turn should increase the usage on my site which in turn should increase my earnings also.

Aside from generating my site a little targeted traffic. The other benefits of course are having my link on a site with a high PR. It's a good backlink to have, having your sites link on an article site such as Ezine@rticles.com.

Benefits of guest posting here

This blogs done quite well I would say considering my level of knowledge & expertise. If you saw my Fun with Keyword Searches for Make Money Online searches post for this blog you'll see how it's number 1 spot in Yahoo for Make Money Online searches & variations of Make Money Online searches. It ranks well for similar searches in quite a few other search engines now as well not just Google and Yahoo. Some people work hard to rank for such keywords. I've worked a bit on building backlinks and promoting this blog but nothing any seriously serious major marketer may have done. Writing and submitting articles to many article directories etc. I've just let the Search Engines & Social networking & blogging community networks that I am a part of deliver the traffic. Even though I've usually always socially bookmarked most of my posts. It's not showing on this side of an Alexa update to have many backlinks but that is because it's not a top level domain. I should have got a domain at the very beginning for cheap but the idea was to make money online for free as free as possible. Although with the understanding I have now maybe as this blog begins another year with good roots it would be good to brand it even more with it's own domain name. Something I offer you to give input on and we'll see what happens.

This is not accurate as doing a Google search for a search for this blog makerealfreemoney.blogspot.com shows 1,080 results. If you could see the Analytics stats for incoming traffic you'd see constant traffic to this blog. I will have to make the StatCounter stats public. I will edit here when done for you to see. That search shows about 1,080 results but my user handle of Mkcoy returns 9,680 results.

It's a good start and I'm proud of the PR1 for this blog. Even though it should be a PR2 or 3 when I think how some of my other blogs are already PR2 and only been going a couple months but this should improve.

In any case this blog gets continued daily growing natural organic search engine traffic. And rising amounts of returning visitors and page loads with lots of exit links from the posts.
